Welcome to Craik & Son
Craik and Son is the product of years of experience in Painting and Decorating. They have seen decorating trends come and go and have been able to adapt and extend their skills to bring expertise and quality finishes to homes and businesses throughout the Central Belt and beyond.
Andrew Craik began his career in 1949 as an apprentice with Simpson and Pree who were based in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh. After 5 years of apprenticeship he started a Painting and Decorating business with his colleague Andrew Buchan. Their successful partnership ran for 30 years and was extended in the 1980’s when Andrew’s son Jeff Craik joined the business.

Jeff Craik extended his Painting and Decorating skills with qualifications in Signwriting and took over the business of Craik and Son.
To this day the business of Craik and Son continues to flourish, with many repeat customers which is testament to their high standards of service and attention to customer satisfaction.
